Best Tool For Staying Present & Safe

Not sure what the weather has been like where you live, but in my neck of the woods, it has been scarily HOT!  

When I experience these clear signs from the earth that things are not right, it can throw me into a panic. You too?

So how do we manage that?

A tool I return to again and again is a breath that I learned from my guru twenty years ago. It’s called the Chidakash, the heart space over the head.

As Ram Dass says,

“Chidakash is the place where consciousness and love merge, where they become the same thing. It’s where the pure aspects of all qualities come together; a timeless and nameless space where everything is present, where you know everything, but you’re not attached to anything.”

Being in the Chidakash, allows you to remain open hearted and experience peace and balance. It’s really pretty magical in that regard.

The amazing thing about using this breath is that it allows you to be clear, present and loving while also feeling curiously insulated. Not in a bad, numbing way, but in a “everything’s gonna be ok” way.
