This is a silk screen print in grass green and black with accents in magenta, lilac and pumpkin.
ALL of the series of Dancing Fish are fundraisers to help support the Salish Sea habitat- the salmon as well as the Orca whale pods. All profits will be donated to SacredSea.org, a coalition of organizations supporting restoration of the Salish Sea, and spearheaded by the Lummi Nation. Learn more at: SacredSea.org
Each print is signed and numbered. Shipping is included (in the continental USA only). The print size is 11 in x 11 in. Framed it is 13 in x 13 in.
All prints were made by hand, including the creation of the silk screen, and are printed on mixed media white paper.

ONLY AP Prints are available (13)- Artist prints are called that as they have some irregularities. Because of this, they are 1/2 priced.
Framed or Unframed
Framed - If ordering framed, the frame is a 1/2 inch silver metal frame, with real glass, that is UV art glass. The matting is archival quality and is black. Item will be packed professionally. Size is 13 inches x 13 inches.
Unframed- You will receive your print rolled in a tube. No matting.

This salmon mandala was the first silk screen design I completed. It was inspired by visiting the Pacific Northwest which, little did I know, was calling me home. Within a year of creating these, I bought a house and then moved to the Salish Sea area.
Salmon are sacred to many of the First Nation people of the Salish Sea. They equal life for they were an abundant food source. Additionally, salmon can also symbolize: abundance, fertility, renewal and rebirth, eternal life and reproduction. Because salmon are strong and driven- swimming upstream to lay eggs,- they also remind us to tap into the primeval essence of who we are.
Being sensitive to cultural appropriation, I offer these prints as a fundraiser for sacredsea.org
